KEEPING SCORE

Updated: Nov 10, 2020

It's easy to feel like a loser when you don't keep score!

Keeping score is pretty big in the sales world, but it's even more important to keep score on ourselves.

When people look in-depth (put it pen to paper) at everything they have really accomplished instead of what they imagine that they have accomplished, they are often surprised.

They have done more than they think.

I notice it when I am helping someone to optimize their Linkedin.

I ask questions about:

➤ Awards or mentions they have received

➤ Number of languages they know

➤ Number of industries they have worked in

➤ Skills (not in their field) that they had to learn

➤ Number of new programs or initiatives they have spearheaded at work

And many other questions.

Once we are done with this list, the first thing I see: The Superman Chest!

They sit taller in their chair, chest out and hear some form of "Wow, I didn't realize how much I accomplished in my life!"

Exactly.

It's easy to feel like a loser when you don't keep score!

Start keeping score.

You have done way more than you think... you badass you!
